Few words for Liz. Who is adored by one and all. I Few words for Liz. Who is adored by one and all. I’m so lucky I was born to her ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone - especially those who have hurting hearts. Wrapping you in love. Big warm hugs from me ❤️
Being a part of @_sarahwilson_ ‘s Substack commu Being a part of @_sarahwilson_ ‘s Substack community as she serialised a book exploring ‘collapse’ last year was a hugely transformative experience.

You might remember Sarah as the first host of Masterchef or from her ‘I Quit Sugar’ days.

She’s a long-time climate activist, has written multiple best-selling books and hosts her Wild podcast.

I remember reading her weekly column in the Sydney Morning Herald when we lived there pre-children!

I’ve always kept an eye on what she’s doing so when she decided to fully explore this concept of systems collapse/the meta crisis I was in!

But I also wanted it to be completely wrong. I explored lots of counter- arguments!

Turns out, all of us in that community started to fully face reality as she interviewed extraordinary thinkers (it was actually a relief to understand where things are at and have context for it). And the gift of getting clear about what’s happening is that you can begin figuring out who you want to BE at this moment in time.

If you’ve listened to the new season of the poddy - you’d know that I use the analogy of ‘paving the road with rose fences’. It’s how I’m choosing to show up.

This is a hugely disruptive moment in time AND we get to lead with heart, with creativity and with LOVE.

It was great to hear Sarah speak as part of the Melbourne Writer’s Festival tonight with my beautiful friend @kellcaseypsychicmedium

I wrote lots of ineligible notes in a dark theatre… felt right at the time 😂

Tell me - do you follow Sarah’s work?
I had a beautiful follower here reach out during t I had a beautiful follower here reach out during the week to say she had been worried about listening to the new season of the podcast.

She was scared it would be a bit ‘doomsday’.

I get it. No one needs life to feel harder!

But when she heard me mention in my stories that the whole entire point of the podcast is to create conversation about how we can move along this bumpy, wild path of uncertainty and change in the world and make it beautiful and empowering and an opportunity to create the kind of world we’ve been aching for - well - she was on board!

Big disruptive change is here. You’re either aware or not, but everyone will be affected either way.

As a widow and small business owner I have no fallback position when it comes to my kids and figuring out work and life - I HAD to get my head around things.

It’s not doomsday (at all!) but lots will be different very soon and I’m interested in how we thrive amongst it… In how to get creative amongst it.

I’ve worked with thousands of you over the years on managing the crippling overwhelm that comes with modern parenting. I feel it too.

I know capacity is limited to deal with the ‘big stuff’. But what if this is the moment that ‘the way we’ve always done things’ can stop? (Imagine!)

This technological revolution is only just beginning but it’s going to escalate, fast. I think it’s important to understand that.

The impacts of climate change are also only going to accelerate. And there’s huge implications.

AND WE CHOOSE how we show up for all this.

Women 👏🏻 at 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 table 👏🏻 please 👏🏻

We are four episodes in to the new season and I promise I’m not trying to freak us out. I give you a status update and then we set about moving forward with agency and eyes wide open.

Ep 1. Pave the road with roses
Ep 2. The train has left the station
Ep 3. Understanding AI - the basics
Ep 4. Have I become a prepper??

🎙️ Conversations with Lisa: This Moment in Time 🎙️

Were you scared to listen too??
It’s so outrageously delicious and you can stack It’s so outrageously delicious and you can stack it with veggies.
A note: you blend the sauce juices with all the cooked veggies - that’s what makes it thick. Yum.
Parmesan is a perfect addition.

PS The wait is over! Episodes 3 & 4 of the new season of Conversations with Lisa has landed. Listen on your poddy app of choice 🎙️
