No human wants life to be harder than it is. But there’s ways to get moving on new habits that, initially, might feel difficult and require more of you.

Hey, it’s Lisa Corduff. Welcome to the podcast where you can expect inspiring, raw, energising, and transformative conversations with people on the path of personal evolution. I’m here to really live my life and if you are too, these conversations are just for you. I’m really glad you are here. Enjoy.
Alright. I hope you are loving these short, sharp reminders of why you are not a failure, but the practise of making news resolutions in the way that you have been is the problem, not you. Okay? Now, here is another mistake that I see lots of people making with this, and it’s so common sense when you think about it. So here it is. I wonder when the last time you excitedly made room for and prioritised and planned for things that felt really hard, onerous, forced. Well, I mean, we kind of steer away of those things, don’t we? And yet so many new’s resolutions involve restriction or denial or force, and I’m, I’m all full. When I first started doing some weights work again, it freaking hurt My body hurt, my muscles hurt. I was shaking. It was hard to walk down my stairs, and yet I found a way to make that whole experience pleasurable.
Sometimes the things we want do require a bit of grunt, do require us to get uncomfortable. And so it’s not all rainbows and unicorns. But if you think about it, are you actually going to do stuff that y you feel constantly restricted or it just actually makes your life harder? No. We’re we all on easy street, right? So work with that. Work with yourself. When it came to starting a new little routine around weights, I actually decided to look at what I value and what I find fun and pleasurable. And so I started doing it alongside my boyfriend and we would put music on, take our pants off and do it in our niggers, <laugh> and jocks, and have a really good time and he’d make me do things that I might not have done on my own, but it was fun, right in the change room, one of the basics that we explore is pleasure and how much easier it makes change when it’s coming from a place of enjoying it.
So look at the news resolutions that you made, or look at the things that you want to change about yourself. Is it this heavy? Can’t do this. I’m restricting this. I mean, we are wired not to move towards that stuff and yet we keep on doing it. So how can you flip it? How can you actually make what it is that you want? A pleasurable experience? And I’m going to really remind you the price of the change room is going up in about a week or so, and it will never be $297 for me to coach you through for three whole months. It really is an extraordinary price, and I will help you do exactly this. Every single area of your life that we explore, your mornings, your nights, how organised you feel, how you are moving, what you are eating, all of these areas of your life, when you start to look at it through the lens of the changes that you want to make in that area and how to make it pleasurable, I tell you, it will change your entire life.
You will never, ever make resolutions or goals in the same way ever again. You will never approach change in the same way because you will understand yourself, you will understand how your brain is working. It works against you to get what you want unless you know you know what I walk you through in the change room and your chance to grab that is running out your chance to grab it at its original launch. Prices running out. And I really do want to drive that home because I want as many people as possible to get it for this outrageously low price. Okay? Now, if you are not already, sign up to clear it out where we are decluttering. We’re ma, we’re recreating space over three days. That is happening on February 20. Make sure you are locked in.
