The arrival of 2020 has brought with it a bizarre energy here in Australia. With despair and heartache at the bushfire crisis to witnessing the strength of community and a coming together of our nation like never before.

In this podcast I share about why practical actions in our individual lives can make a really big difference when we feel helpless in the face of a national and global crisis.

I talk about how disengaged I had become over the past five years from current affairs and issues outside the scope of my family, business and interests. And what I’m listening to daily to get a quick and comprehensive low-down!

I also reveal how, as a business, myself and the team will be donating every dollar made from the Small Steps Membership in January to the Bushfire Appeal and welcoming new members in so they can empower themselves with tools to reduce their footprint via the food they eat. This conversation is an honest reflection on how impacted I have been by the bushfires and how I plan to play my part in helping.(You’ll also hear about the TV show I created back in 2007 – which was a little ahead of it’s time…!)
