If we haven’t met yet — hi, I’m Lisa Corduff.

Among the many hats I wear as a sole parent to three teens and tweens, I’m also a passionate storyteller, speaker, and teacher.

My journey has been far from ordinary—but then again, who gets to 45 without encountering some tricky life stuff?

For me, the turning point came when I became a widow at 39 under heartbreaking circumstances.

That was five years ago.

A series of deeply challenging events led up to that moment (it was tough stuff), and not long after, the COVID years arrived. For us in Melbourne, it was an especially hard time.

Life had thrown a lot at me.

By the beginning of 2023, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Because here’s the thing: while all those events happened, I made the choice that they wouldn’t define my entire story.

Nope.

The story of Lisa? It’s complex, glorious, a little tragic, and overflowing with hope.

I discovered this truth when I quite literally put pen to paper and began writing a story called Harvest.

Through this process—embracing the pain, the joy, the courage, the creativity, and the abundance of connection, adventure, and spirit—I set myself free.

Honestly, writing the story of my past was the most transformative thing I’ve ever done to reconcile and heal a life turned upside down. It allowed me to lovingly accept the best and messiest parts of myself. It was a journey of liberation.
